Ileun RPG

Welcome to a world of mystery, magic, intrigue, and adventure.  People and creatures of all kind come to this world searching for treasure, romance, adventure, or just a nice place to relax.  Come, enter this world, and explore.

I'm sure many of you who are here for the first time have questions as to what this is all about.  Ileun RPG is an open-ended RPG played by you, the writers. 

Basically, you create your own character and have fun.  Your character can be just about anything short of a god.  You can be whatever you like from a normal human farmer, to a holy paladin, to an orc chieftain, to a greedy dragon, to a demon from the bowels of the Lower Planes.  You interact with other characters in the RPG, sometimes getting into fights, sometimes searching for treasure.  You explore and have fun.

Some of you are probably thinking, "Oh, this is another of those stupid swords and sorcery RPGs."  Well, this is not entirely true.  While the world of Ileun is in a more medieval, swords and sorcery setting, modern, or even futuristic characters are more than welcome to join the RPG.  This is an opportunity to bring your imagination to life, so let it run wild for a time.

If you've read this far, you're probably asking, "Great!  How can I get started?"  For new people who are wanting to submit a character, look at the Character Submission information page.  This page details how to create and submit your character, as well as some of the guidelines to playing.

Once you have a character, take a look at the Map of Ileun.  This provides an overview of what the world looks like and can give you ideas of where to get started.  You should also check the Character List, the Players List, and the Storyline.  The first two will give you a bit of information on other characters and how to get in touch with them if you wish to integrate your character in their storyline.  The Storyline is where the tales of the characters are revealed.  This will give you a good idea of what has been happening recently in the world of Ileun.
